When I first saw images of the building it appeared as if the metal structure was connected to the building upon actually visiting it realised it wasn't. 

  The University of Sydney's Law School Building was designed by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp Architects (FJMT) [link] and located on the University of Sydney's main campus. The Law School Building was completed in 2009.
